September 1, 2019: Applications close
Individuals and teams interested in entering Season Four must register online for the competition and submit their Idea by this date.
July 31, 2019: Semi-Finalists Announced & The Idea Development Process Begins
The judges and organizers will meet to review the submissions and choose the best ideas to move on to the semi-finals.Semi-finalists will continue developing their Ideas and designing their proposals. A group of mentors and guest speakers will provide valuable resources to assist in the process.
December 31, 2019: Semi-finalists Submit Materials
Full proposals are due on December 31st, 2018. The finalists will then be chosen by a panel of judges from the veterinary community based on the submitted proposals.
January 2019: Idea Finalists Announced
The top three teams will be announced. Finalist teams will start preparing to pitch their ideas live at SAVMA 2020, hosted by Cornell.
March 2020: Live Finals: 2020 SAVMA Symposium, Cornell University.
Finalists will compete by presenting their Ideas live to a panel of veterinary industry experts during a blowout event at the 2019 SAVMA conference. Cash prizes totaling $17500 will be awarded to assist the winning teams in funding the ongoing development of their ideas.
